2013 Fantasy Baseball Designated Hitter Rankings

.
Here are the 2013 Lester?s Legends fantasy baseball designated hitter rankings.
.
1. Billy Butler, Kansas City Royals
Butler blew up last year with a .313-72-29-107-2 line. He?s a career .300 hitter and now that he?s added the power, he?s become more dangerous and valuable.
.
2. David Ortiz, Boston Red Sox
Big Papi was limited to 90 games last year, but he managed to turn in a .318-65-23-60-0 line. His 1.026 OPS was his highest since 2007. Papi is getting long in the tooth, but he continues to produce.
.
3. Mark Trumbo, Los Angeles Angels
Trumbo has 61 home runs over the past two seasons. He doesn?t score many runs or hit for average, but he should provide plenty of power, especially in that offense.
.
4. Victor Martinez, Detroit Lions
Martinez didn?t play last year, but he?s a professional hitter. He has a career .303 batting average and provides some pop. His catcher eligibility makes him valuable.
.
5. Chris Davis, Baltimore Orioles
Davis finally delivered on his power promise with 33 bombs for the Orioles. They are the perfect fit for his free-swinging ways. Look for the power to continue.
.
6. Adam Dunn, Chicago White Sox
Dunn regained his power stroke with 41 home runs. His batting average, .204 last year and .240 lifetime, is a serious liability though.
.
7. Adam Lind, Toronto Blue Jays
Lind has decent power when he can stay healthy. His average, especially against left-handed pitching, leaves plenty to be desired, but he can help fantasy teams with his bat.
.
8. Kendrys Morales, Seattle Mariners
Morales returned from his long absence to his 22 home runs and drive in 73 runs. He should get more opportunities in Seattle, where there isn?t quite the logjam of talent as there was in Anaheim.
